Highway 1 Resurfacing Slated for Spring

If the weather permits, a $4.5 million resurfacing project in Washington County will begin in April. According to Jason Huddle with the Iowa DOT, Highway 1 will be resurfaced from the Iowa 92 junction north to C Avenue in Kalona. Another project on Highway 1 is expected to begin around the same time. That project will start at C Avenue and go north to Iowa City. A bid for that project will be chosen in March.
